Happy Father’s Day to all you wonderful Papa’s, Daddy’s, Pop pi, Pawpaw, Father’s and if that didn’t work, Men with children out there! Being a Father refers to many names, but also many roles that you play in your family’s lives. The Bible tells us that you are the stronghold of the house. Our Heavenly Father is our Rock, our Fortress, and our Deliverer at all times and He has made us in His likeness. In reference to the word Father, the (He) which is implied is the strong hold. What does that exactly mean? Well let’s take a look at what the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary has to say…1: A fortified place 2: A place of security or survival
This is what I believe the Father in heaven intended a father to be. Yet a father’s strength in stature is still full of love, devotion, and loyalty to his “family” which is the most treasured gift God ever gave to mankind, with the exception of the giving of Himself unto death and life again. And now He is in the midst of preparing a secure place for us that is fortified with His amazing Grace so full of His love.
Thank You, God, for giving us earthly fathers, to be our family protectors and guides. We honor You and thank You for being our heavenly Father. You have intricately detailed a Master Plan for mankind. A plan that has been prophesied since the beginning of time and continues to be full filled. As we draw closer and closer to the end of time, help us Father to stay faithful to You Lord, for You are the Holy of Holies, divinely magnificent, Amazing and Awesome in our sight! Happy Father’s Day to You God and to all the fathers You have Blessed us with!
